Pack 351 is currently participating in the annual Camp4All fundraiser!

Camp4All is a fundraiser to support camping in the Cascade Pacific Council. Every year we collect donations to support our 12 camping properties in the Cascade Pacific Council. This is by far the most camping properties of most any council. Camp4All money is dedicated to supporting camp maintenance, staff, and buildings. This money also goes directly to Scouts in the form of camp scholarships. Cascade Pacific Council never wants money to be a barrier to camp for any Scout.

Please donate to Pack 351’s Camp4All fundraising page!

2018 Pack of the YEAR!!!!

on Thursday, March 15, the Lewis & Clark District of the Cascade Pacific Council of Boy Scouts of America held its annual District Dinner for Awards and Fellowship.

At this dinner our AMAZING Cub Scout Pack 351 WON the Pack of the Year award, of all the Packs in the Entire District!

This is such a HUGE honor!!!! and we couldn’t be more Proud!

Our Pack has grown by leaps and bounds this past year, we have any new leaders who have put in the efforts to get themselves fully trained and then some, our scouts and their families attend all our Pack planned activities as well as a large majority of District and Council activities…we are open to all, we have many new girls in our Pack and we like to have fun.

Do you know a kiddo in 1st-4th grade who is interested in Scouting?

Send us an email for more info at pdxpack351@gmail.com, check out our website, facebook and instagram pages…and of course stop by any of our meetings to see what we are all about…everyone is welcome!

Blue & Gold Bash and Webelos Crossover 2018

Blue and Gold is always a fun time, but its bittersweet as we also send our Webelos off to be Boy Scouts. This year was no different…we had a great party with delicious food catered by Sckavone’s, a lovely birthday cake donated by Fred Meyer, a whole lot of family and friends and a great party atmosphere.

Lovely decorations, a slideshow presentation of all the fun Pack 351 has had this past scouting year, monthly awards including our first girls earning their Bobcat award, and  then ended the night with an Order of the Arrow crossover ceremony for our 7 Arrow of Light Webelos scouts.

We also said thank you and goodbye to our longtime Den Leader Joe, who will join his Webelos Den moving on to Boy Scout Troop 351…that was especially hard as he has been a bit of a rock for our Pack and we have been so grateful for all that he has contributed to our Pack.

A big THANK YOU to Bear Den parent Lisa for helping create our beautiful invitations,  Cubmaster Jen for the slideshow and table decorations, Wolf and Tiger Den scouts and families for helping set-up the party and the Bear and Webelos Den scouts and families for helping clean-up the party, our Venture Crew Guide Maria for all her assistance, and the Boy Scouts of Troop 351 and Explore Club Scouts of 351 for all their help and support!

Pinewood Derby 2018

Saturday, January 20th was the annual Pack 351 Pinewood Derby event!!

We had 39 scout cars racing (including cars from 3 new scouts who joined earlier this week) and 36 scouts in attendance (a few scouts out sick or at coinciding basketball games), plus 6 non-sout cars racing in our Master Class race.

We have a brand new track this year with some excellent timing software that unfortunately put our start time a little behind what we had originally planned but we ended fairly close to our scheduled end time…

Thank you to everyone who came out to watch and support our scouts and a HUGE thank you to all our volunteer Leaders and parent set-up & clean-up helpers…this event would NOT be possible without you!

Great job to our scouts…there were some great cars and the races were so much fun to watch…Congratulations to all the boys and girls of Pack 351!
