Crossover and Blue & Gold Dinner

The Blue & Gold Dinner is where we celebrate the birth of Boy Scouts of America, incorporated on February 8th, 1910.

Crossover is where Webelos II Scouts (5th Graders) start the night as Cub Scouts and cross over to being Boy Scouts.   Crossover is done in February so that the new Boy Scouts have an opportunity to become familiar with the Troop’s leaders and other boys before going off to summer camps, etc.

Josh Lighthipe was Assistant Den Leader for the Webelos II’s and he took the photo below.   He also posted more photos and videos of the night.

Victor, Rosvin, Benson, Alex, Daniel, Trey, Jack, Jojo and Ashton are all Boy Scouts now!
