About Us

In Cub Scouting, youth and their families have fun and adventure in a program that builds character and instills values. Cub Scouting embraces the values of the Scout Law, encouraging Scouts to be trustworthy, loyal, helpful, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent. These values come to the youth in all parts of the Cub Scout program – all while they’re having a great time with their friends and families.

Cub Scout Pack 351 was chartered  in 1982 and is established at St. Ignatius School in SE Portland. We are very proud to celebrate our 40th year in 2022!

Our Pack is for children in the Kindergarten through 5th Grades of many Southeast Portland Schools. We have kids from Abernethy, Arthur Academy, Atkinson, Bridger, Cherry Park, Creston, Grout, Laurelhurst, Lewis, Oregon Virtual Academy, Richmond, St. Ignatius, SW Charter, Woodmere, and a few other schools in SE Portland, OR.

Parents are expected to stay at all den and pack meetings as they may be needed to help with behavior issues that may arise and/or to jump in and assist a leader with a part of an activity the group might be doing. Parents are also expected to attend and engage at all the Pack’s optional outings, activities and events. Cub Scouting is all volunteer run and it is our goal to always make it a fun and successful adventure for all the kids and adults involved in our pack so we really need every parent helping out.

Prospective scouts are welcome to come to any of our den or pack Meetings and see what it’s like.
